The PNCMI School will give a comprehensive introduction to polarised neutrons, the techniques and their scientific applications. A series of morning lectures from preeminent scientists in the field will focus on state-of-the-art polarised neutron scattering techniques and their applications to small-angle scattering, reflectometry, diffraction and inelastic scattering. In the afternoons hands-on experiments will be performed in small groups using the facilities of the Reactor Institute Delft.
The school give you the background for the PNCMI conference the following week. The school will be from the 28th of June till the 2nd of July.
The School is primarily intended for master/PhD students or young postdoctoral scientists familiar with scattering techniques who are seeking additional training in polarised neutrons.
For more information or for registration please send an email to PNCMI2010email@example.com. For registration please include the following information:
The maximum number of participants will be limited to 30. The registration deadline is the 1st of April and notification of acceptance will be sent by mid-April.
